- Digital Library
- Digital libraries contain digitized collections that are available for retrieval (Taylor 2004, 15). Often, the resources within digital libraries have been professionally selected and organized and serve many of the same roles as traditional libraries (Anderson and Perez-Carballo 2005, 13).
- see Digital Libraries
- Folksonomy
- Classification system created by users who tag the content of a resource (Gordon-Murnane 2006). For example, del.icio.us users create folsonomies by tagging related items with like tags.
